AMR water meter, smart water meter by Mbus for IOT, smart city

General introduction

As one type of intelligent water meter for smart city, IOT parts. Our new generation AMR water, communication option: wired Mbus. The base water meter is fully sealed multi jet water meter, Class B. It communicaites with remote data center through wired Mbus, CJ188 protocol, easily for remote reading. The base water meter is multi jet impeller type water meter, fully sealed register. The type of water meter can work in the environment of high humidity, but no fog inside the register, so it can keep clearly reading.

Work logic

1. Basic communication device: M-BUS collector and measurement meter transmit data by M-BUS line with 4 channels, and can connect the meter according to any topological structure. Build in backup battery, could works for 48 hours normally, and the data can be saved for 10 years if power is cut off.

2. Relay communication: Middle layer communication means the communication between the concentrator and collector. This communication is by wireless RF way, no need of communication line. The wireless communication distance between the concentrator and collector can be about 3km at open environment.

3. Upper transfer communication: Communication methods indicate below can be selected between concentrator and management center.

Water meter operate condition:

• Water temperature:0.1℃～40℃ for cold water
  30℃～90℃ for hot water meter.

Maximum Permissible Error:

(1) Between qt (included) and qs is ±2%;

Installation

• The installation of water meter meets the installation requirements of ISO4064-2:2005
• The caliber of water meter shall correspond with caliber of pipes and the used flow rate is less than or close to the permanent flowrate. The installation place should avoid exposure, flooding, freeze and pollution, and convenient for installing, removing and reading data.
• The water meter shall be installed horizontally (display surface is upward).
• The sands and stones and other sundries in the pipelines shall be cleared.
• The arrow on the water meter should be the same as the water flow in the pipeline.
• If the water meter is installed on the inlet of the boiler, it is better to install inverted valve on the outlet of water to prevent the return current of hot water and steam will damage the water meter.
